Mentis Clinic Asia is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Dr. Shafi Muhammad Shaikh and Mrs. Naseem Shafi Shaikh — the revered and legendary parents of our founder, Dr. Faisal Shaikh.
For over a quarter of a century, they lived and served in the radiant city of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, honoured to be among the neighbours of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Their home was filled with quiet dignity, devotion, and the fragrance of the Prophet’s city — a place where hearts soften and time slows, wrapped in the mercy and light of Al-Mustafa ﷺ.
Their legacy of compassion, sacrifice, and steadfast faith lives on through every patient we serve. This clinic is a humble continuation of their lifelong mission: to heal, uplift, and honour the human soul, just as they did with grace and sincerity in the sacred shade of Madinah.

Dr. Faisal Shaikh is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 24 years in mental health, including 18 years as a Consultant in both the UK NHS and private sector. His clinical journey spans continents, languages, and disciplines—but at the heart of it is a steadfast commitment to compassionate, culturally-informed care.
Dr. Shaikh is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych), and holds two Master’s degrees: one in Public Health from the University of York, and the other in Medical Leadership from Warwick Business School. He is also a certified executive coach and mentor, helping professionals align purpose with clarity and wellbeing.
